This was a complex project with many visitors passing through a series of zones of which Stage One created various scenic elements. This involved mechanical elements with composite build and CNC machining to create complex, interactive shapes.

The Stage One designed launch of the Vauxhall Corsa at Birmingham's NEC involved cars 'looping the loop' along coils of giant filmstrip.

Star Trek

This Stage One project was was part of a large exhibition. The design and build involved special tooling and machining in order to accurately capture the detail of the Star Ship Enterprise while maintaing high end quality in its finishing.

BMW View Pod

With just five weeks from brief to installation, the Stage One build team faced this major construction challenge by producing a visually stunning solution: a 'floating' yet balanced structure, able to bear the weight of 1.5 tonnes.

This seamless, semi-permanent Viewpod displayed two cars simultaneously and toured the country, stopping off at major UK cities during its promotional journey.

Saab

This Stage One launch involved constructing several very different environments including a 200 seat auditorium to stage the car reveal, using a revolve and a tracking video wall controlled by a motion system.

The project also required a contemporary presentation area with glass partitions, filled cloth walls and white laminate flooring which was linked to the auditorium by a piazza - a large tensile structure, surrounded by three spectacular curved scenic walls, one of which even spanned a main access road.

RSA - The WEEE Man

The WEEE Man sculpture was constructed from items included in the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment directive. The WEEE Man is made from the amount of waste electrical and electronic products that an average UK citizen will throw away in a lifetime.

The Stage One exhibition formed part of the environmental awareness initiative from the RSA.
